PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Open to advanced & superior level Spanish speakers only
  • A minimum 3.0 G.P.A. is required
  • Completed API application
  • One official transcript
  • One letter of recommendation
  • An oral interview to verify level of Spanish proficiency
  • Classes taught in Spanish
  • Directly enroll in classes with Spanish students
  • Housing: local host families and residencias
  • Entry requirements: valid passport with student visa

ACADEMIC PROGRAM


Students in this program enroll in 4-5 classes with Spaniards at the Facultad de Geografía e Historia or the Facultad de Filología for a total of 12-15 semester credits. Students can also enroll in 1-2 courses at the high advanced level from the Spanish Language and Humanities program. Students are able to participate in weekly cultural seminars and events, as well as intercambios with Spanish students.
