Academic Programs International

How many photos did you take while you were abroad? Just a few? Hundreds? Thousands? We'd love for you to share a few of your best photos with API. Use our quick online process to upload and describe your photos and videos!

To use the upload function, you must have Java enabled in your browser. You will be asked to trust the Java applet so that it can access your pictures. If you experience any trouble with your upload, please see our instructions for mailing us a CD or DVD.

Content

Photos and videos must be your original work.
Photos and videos must be taken outside the United States.
Photos and videos must be taken on an API program site or excursion.
Photos and videos must be free of alcohol and/or cigarettes.
Photos and videos with people are best, but scenic shots are also accepted.

Formats

Photos must be in JPG file format.
Videos must be in MPG file format and no longer than three minutes.

You can upload up to 100 megabytes at a time.
You are welcome to upload more than 100 megabytes,
but you will need to separate it into sessions of less than 100 megabytes.

Terms of Use

All photos and videos submitted for the contest will become the property of Academic Programs International. By submitting photos and/or videos, entrants are agreeing to grant Academic Programs International license for use of the photographs and videos in displays related to the contest and in API's printed and electronic publications. All decisions are final. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not conform to the stated contest rules and criteria.
